Counterbalanced mini cranes for US plants and warehouses
A counterbalanced mini crane lifts heavy parts where a jib crane, gantry or overhead hoist is not available or not practical. Just Lift cranes need no fixed installation: the counterweight in the base keeps the crane stable, so the operator can drive it to the machine, lift the load and move on. Capacity ranges from 150 kg (330 lb) to 800 kg (1,760 lb). A wired pendant with potentiometric control gives proportional, millimeter-level movements, which suits machining centers, assembly lines and fragile materials such as glass. The base can be picked up with forklift forks, making it easy to move the crane between departments.
Safety is built in from the design stage. Just Lift cranes include an anti-tip system, an anti-crushing button on the tiller head, overload and collision sensors, and an electric brake that stays engaged when power is off. What is a counterbalanced mini crane?
It is a mobile floor crane with a counterweight in the base instead of outriggers. The counterweight keeps the crane stable while it lifts, so it can work close to machines and in narrow aisles. Just Lift models are battery powered and controlled with a wired pendant for precise lifting and positioning.
How much can Just Lift cranes lift?
Maximum capacity is 150 kg (330 lb) for the JL150, 250 kg (550 lb) for the JL250, 550 kg (1,210 lb) for the JL500 and 800 kg (1,760 lb) for the JL750. Capacity drops as the arm extends, so Prella checks your load weight and reach before recommending a model.
Do I need a fixed crane or special installation?
No. Just Lift cranes are self-contained and need no fixed structure, rails or anchoring. The operator drives or pushes the crane to the work area. They can also work alongside existing fixed lifting systems to reach spots those systems cannot cover, which keeps your production layout flexible.
What safety features are included?
Just Lift cranes include an anti-tip system as standard, an anti-crushing button on the tiller head, an overload sensor, a collision sensor and an electric brake that stays on when power is off. Safety is part of the design from the first stage, according to the manufacturer.
