Custom lithium forklift and AGV batteries from Italy, supported in the USA
Aliant designs lithium batteries for industrial vehicles around the machine, not the catalog. Each LiFePO4 pack is sized to the battery compartment, voltage and duty cycle of the vehicle, from electric forklifts, pallet jacks and stackers to AGVs, street sweepers, telehandlers and airport ground support equipment. The in-house Pegasus BMS handles cell balancing, event logging and CAN communication with the vehicle controller and charger. LFP chemistry delivers over 3,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and runs from −20 °C to +60 °C (−4 °F to 140 °F). For plant managers, that means fewer battery swaps, no watering and more uptime per shift.
Prella Technologies brings Aliant to North American OEMs and fleet operators. We collect your vehicle data, coordinate the custom design with the Aliant engineering team in Italy, and handle quote, delivery, start-up and service from East Dundee, Illinois. Whether you are building a new electric vehicle or retrofitting lead-acid forklifts, we support the project end to end, from first sizing to field service.
Aliant: frequently asked questions
Does Aliant sell standard off-the-shelf batteries?
No. Aliant builds custom LFP lithium batteries for each vehicle or machine. Geometry, voltage, capacity, connectors and BMS settings are matched to the application. Aliant reports an average of eight weeks to develop a prototype. Prella collects your vehicle data and coordinates the project with the engineering team in Italy.
Can Aliant batteries replace lead-acid batteries in existing forklifts?
Yes. Aliant designs lithium packs for retrofits that replace aging batteries in forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers and AGVs already in service, so you keep the vehicle. The pack is built to fit the existing compartment and integrate with the onboard electronics. Contact Prella with your truck model and duty cycle to start the evaluation.
How long do Aliant LFP batteries last?
Aliant states a lifespan of over 3,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge for its LFP cells. Actual service life depends on duty cycle, charging profile and operating temperature. The Athena remote monitoring system tracks state of health over time, so you can see how each battery in your fleet is aging.
Who services Aliant batteries in North America?
